December, 2008, Prayer Letter

Dear Fellow Helpers in the Lord,

     Thank you so much for your support for the BEAMS Bible ministry.  So far this year, your offerings have allowed the BEAMS Bible ministry, to supply 112,308 Bibles to missionaries in 122 countries.  We give all praise and glory to the Lord.  We have averaged 10,800 Bibles a month in 2008.  Amen!

Bible Reading Charts

     For several years, the BEAMS ministry has been supplying four color Bible Reading Charts to churches to give out to their members.  These charts have all the books and chapters of the Bible listed.  We ask pastors to give these out on the first Sunday, January 4, and challenge their members to read through the Bible in 2009.  Pastor, if you would like to order some Reading Charts for your church, please call our office at 228-832-1096.

BEAMS Bible Day:  Sunday, February 1, 2009 

     Sunday, February 1, has been designated “BEAMS Bible Day”.  On this day, we ask pastors to recognize the importance of the Bible and to receive a special offering for Bibles for BEAMS.  This year we have set a goal of raising $70,000.00 for printing Bibles in the Farsi language, for 10,000 believers in Iran.  Pastors, we have posters and Bible Day envelopes available.  Call the office at 228-832-1096 to order some for your church.

Pay Off Property:  Be One of 170

     One of our goals for this coming year is to see the property of BEAMS paid off.  We only owe $170,000.00.  If 170 churches would send us $1,000.00, this debt would be paid off. 

     This is the only debt that BEAMS has.  I would like to see the BEAMS ministry completely out of debt.  Would you prayerfully consider becoming one of  170.?  If you can not afford to send $1,000.00, then please send what ever you can.  Every dollar given towards the principal will save us $1.00 in interest.
