Dear Fellow Helpers in the Lord,
Greetings in the name of our precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. May I take this opportunity to thank each of you for your prayers and support for the BEAMS Bible ministry and for the Freret family. The most important book in all the world is the Bible. What an honor it is for us to supply Bibles to missionaries in 123 countries.
BEAMS Bible Day: Sunday, February 1, 2009
Sunday, February 1, has been designated “BEAMS Bible Day”. On this day we ask pastors to recognize the importance of the Bible and to receive an offering for Bibles for BEAMS. This year we have set a goal of $70,000.00 for 10,000 Farsi Bibles for believers in Iran. Any help for this project would be appreciated.
Be One of 170: Help Pay Off BEAMS Property
One of our goals for this year (2009) is to see the property of BEAMS paid off. On December 1, 2008, we owed $170,667.92. We are asking 170 churches or individuals to prayerfully consider giving at least $1,000.00. Every dollar given will be applied towards the principal. As of the writing of this prayer letter, we have received $13,624.02. Every dollar given saves us one dollar in interest. Any consideration toward helping on this project would be deeply appreciated.
Busy Working in the New Warehouse
We are still praising the Lord for providing our new warehouse. We are working hard to ship 12,750 Bibles to Bob Bowen in Thailand; 2,500 to Carrie Suhl, coordinator of BEAMS Bible distribution in Monterrey, Mexico; 800 Bibles to Trinidad Garza for pastors in Mexico; 2,400 Bibles for First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana, for pastors in Ghana; and 2,000 Burmese Bibles for Bro. Tom Gaudet.

Bibles Appreciated by Believers in Spain
Bro. Kent Albright, missionary to Spain, writes, “I want to express our profound gratitude for the wonderful, supportive and sacrificial ministry of Spain to us here in Spain, as well as to all the ministries to which BEAMS supplies Bibles. It is literally an indescribable joy to be able to place into the hands of new believers one of your Bibles, and share of the love and generosity of the church or individual who provided it for them. I love to see the look of surprise and appreciation of their faces as I describe the labor of love that both you folks and the donors have made so that the Bible reaches their hands free of charge. They often insist on paying something for it, but I enjoy lovingly reassuring them that the Bible- just as their salvation-cannot be paid for, although it had been supplied by others at great cost. May the Lord prosper and bless your ministry of love.”
I would like to thank each church and individual for your faithful
support for the Frerets and for the BEAMS Bible ministry. We love and appreciate each of you. Bro. & Sis. Freret
