God continues to bless the BEAMS Bible ministry. Even with these unsure economic times, God’s people are still responding to the need for Bibles. We do not take this for granted; we are working hard to keep expenses down and be good stewards of the funds that come in. If it were not for you we could not do what we do. May God bless you for your faithful giving.

The summer has been very busy here at BEAMS. We have been privileged to host several packing groups this summer from our supporting churches. The adults seem to always leave encouraged and it is not uncommon to hear about the youth getting revived as a result of their time spent serving here at BEAMS. This is your ministry and we welcome you to come by anytime. If you would like to come for more than a short visit, please call the office and we will help you choose a date and even provide you with rooms to stay in while you are here.

Give Bibles “In Memory” and “In Honor”

Purchasing Bibles for a missionary is a gift that will last throughout eternity. It is easy to fill out a BEAMS offering envelope and enclose your check or you can call the office and use your credit card to purchase Bibles in memory of a loved one or simply to honor someone on their special day.

The bookkeeping department of BEAMS can now accept Visa and Master Card. You can now give an offering “In Memory” or “In Honor” by calling the home office at 228-832-1096 and use your credit card.

Update on Special Projects at July 31, 2009

10,000 English Bibles for Rick Martin in the Philippines.  $ 70,000.00 is the total project.
      $ 23,450.95 has been raised, leaving $ 46,549.05 still needed.

3,600 English Bibles for Mark Holmes in Nigeria.  $ 25,200.00 is the total project.
      $ 11,829.48 has been raised, leaving $ 13,370.52* still needed.

Property Pay-off BEAMS Gulfport, MS.  $170,000.00 is the total project as of Jan 1, 2009.
      $ 35,162.67  has been raised, leaving $123,595.73** still needed.

10,000 Spanish Bibles from Vacation Bible Schools to go to Spanish Countries.
      $ 70,000.00 is the total project.  $ 10,872.06 has been raised, leaving $ 59,127.94
      still needed.

* Praise God! At the time of this writing, this need has been met. We are shipping 3,600 Bibles to Bro. Mark Holmes!
** In addition to the $35,162.67 raised, BEAMS regular payments have reduced the principal balance to $123,595.73!
