Because several ministries are involved in printing, missionaries have access to new Testaments and tracts; but few ministries provide hardcover, complete Bibles, free of charge, to missionaries.
Therefore, this has become the primary purpose of BEAMS. We raise funds through offerings from local, independent, Bible-believing Baptist churches to purchase and supply hardcover, complete Bibles for missionaries to give to those who are saved and show a definite interest in serving the Lord.
In just thirteen years, the ministry has grown from supplying 25 Bibles a month to more than 10,000; from serving 12 missionaries to over 1,700 missionaries and national workers; and from 3 countries to more than 119 countries around the world!
We supply Bibles to missionaries on the foreign field in English in only the King James Version or its equivalent in other languages.
